EVENTS 2007
July 22nd–27th - XML Summer School 2007
The XML Summer School is a five-day residential event hosted by CSW which takes place at the University of Oxford, bringing together delegates from across the world to learn and gain practical experience of XML and related technologies.
Each year we assemble some of the world's most knowledgeable XML experts and our Chairs put together an innovative and exciting curriculum. As a delegate you can combine seminars from different tracks and thus tailor the programme to meet your specific needs. Teaching at Oxford is based on the tutorial system, where students can combine formal lectures with time spent in small groups, with tutors expert in their chosen subjects. The XML Summer School follows this model, and aims to provide delegates with a unique opportunity to sample the life of an undergraduate at Oxford University.
Accommodation in student rooms at Wadham College is included in the course fee for those attending the full XML Summer School or any of the two-day seminars such as the Hands-on Introduction to XML and XML in Healthcare. In addition, residential delegates benefit from the free social events such as discovering the delights of the historic colleges and museums, or punting down the River Cherwell. These events are an excellent opportunity to meet informally with the other speakers and delegates and share ideas and discuss topics of interest.
The XML Summer School gives delegates the opportunity to learn about XML and related technologies whilst experiencing student life at first hand, at one of the world’s greatest seats of learning. To find out more visit: www.xmlsummerschool.com

12th-16th February- HIMSS 2006, San Diego
CSW
will be exhibiting at this year's HIMSS
2006 conference and exhibition in San Diego, which provides information
on a wide and diverse range of healthcare topics from Electronic Health
Records (EHR) to quality improvement tools and broad scale interoperability.
The focus of the event this year is "Enter the portal
to progress". The HIMSS conference and exhibition will tackle the hottest
topics in healthcare IT and management systems in more than 200 educational
sessions. These sessions will address subjects such as Leadership and Communication;
Clinical Informatics; EHR; Patient Safety and Risk Management; and Emerging
Technologies.
CSW will be exhibiting at stand 7318, where we will be demonstrating the latest version of Case Notes - our XML-based product for electronic health records management. 20-22 March 2006, Harrogate, UK- HC2006
- "Health Informatics making the difference"
CSW are exhibiting at the 23rd annual conference of Health Informatics, HC2006, where we will be demonstrating the latest version of our product, Case Notes, to the healthcare community.
HC2006 is the longest running and the largest conference and exhibition
of its kind in Europe. The theme this year is "Health Informatics making
the difference". The conference concentrates on reflecting the importance
and commitment that the Government has given to the 'Connecting for Health'
initiative in the NHS and includes demonstrations of work in progress.
In addition to the English NHS perspective, this year the conference provides
opportunities to learn from keynote speakers from Northern Ireland, Scotland
and Wales about their informatics strategies.
The conference is aimed at those health informatics professions who want to examine the current issues and learn how to apply this knowledge to real world situations. It provides a platform to meet others similarly committed in enabling health informatics to improve patient care and services.
CSW will be exhibiting at stand D19 - we look forward to seeing you there.
30th April-3rd May 2006 - E-Health
2006: e...for Everyone!
CSW
will be exhibiting at e-Health
2006 in Victoria, B.C., Canada later this year.
E-Health 2006 is jointly hosted by the Canadian Institute
for Health Information (CIHI) and COACH: Canada's Health Informatics Association.
Now in their seventh year of collaboration, these organisations continue
to offer proactive top-quality learning and an opportunity to network with
other health informatics organisations.
This year, the conference will look at making Electronic Health Records
(EHRs) commonplace at all levels of care, giving individuals, their families
and their care providers' access to personal health information. e-Health
2006: e…for Everyone! will identify the benefits, lessons learned and
best practices in tackling the enormous and critical task of giving all
Canadians an EHR.
CSW will be exhibiting at stand 17, where we will be demonstrating the latest version of Case Notes - our XML-based product for electronic health records management. We will be showing how Case Notes is being used to support the National Programme for IT (NPfIT) in the UK and how it can be applied to solve similar challenges in the Canadian healthcare market today.

October 25th - The Autumn Forum
This year the Autumn Forum takes place on Wednesday 25th October at the Lakeside Conference Centre, Aston University, Birmingham and focuses on how health and social care organisations can increase efficiency through sharing information.
CSW will be exhibiting at the event where we will be showcasing v5 of Case Notes, an Electronic Care Records System based upon a single, 'patient centric' care record that supports pan community communication across both health and social care. The patient centric view provides all health and social care professionals with a single, comprehensive view of a patient’s care and this visibility facilitates an accurate assessment of current needs and existing care provision, which in turn enables a prompt and more speedy response to new patient problems.
For more details on Case Notes v5 and the other services that we can provide, please visit CSW on stand 3. For further information on the Autumn Forum please visit:
